Processing Times
All orders are processed within 1–3 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has shipped, along with tracking information.
Please note: Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or holidays.

Domestic Shipping (U.S. Only)

Standard Shipping (5–8 business days): Free on all orders

Expedited Shipping (1–2 business days): Calculated based on delivery location

We ship via a trusted carrier, UPS. Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on carrier delays or holidays.

International Shipping
We currently do not offer international shipping. Stay tuned as we expand!

Order Tracking

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages
We are not responsible for stolen packages once they are marked as delivered by the carrier. If your order arrives damaged or doesn’t arrive at all, contact us immediately at thenewyorkeffect@gmail.com, and we will do our best to assist you.

At The Effect, each of our products is made with care and intention. Due to the limited nature of our collections and our commitment to quality control, all sales are final.

We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges at this time. Please review product details carefully before placing your order.

The Effect is a luxury, New York–inspired tote and shoulder bag brand. We design timeless, functional pieces in small batches using sustainable practices and U.S.-based manufacturing.

2. Where are your bags made?
All of our bags are proudly manufactured in New York City under ethical labor standards. We work with local production partners committed to quality craftsmanship and fair working conditions.

3. Do you offer returns or exchanges?
We do not accept returns or exchanges at this time, due to the limited nature of our product runs. However, if your item arrives damaged or defective, please reach out within 3 days of delivery and we’ll try our best to assist you.

4. How long will it take to get my order?
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days, and shipping times vary based on your selection:

Standard Shipping (3–5 business days): Free

Expedited Shipping (1–2 business days): $15 flat rate

You’ll receive a tracking number once your order ships.

5. Can I cancel or change my order?

6. What materials do you use?
We use a blend of genuine leather and high-grade technical nylon — selected for both durability and style. Our bags are built to last for years, not months.
